Mission and purpose. .advisor is a generic Top-Level Domain created to give credentialed, client-facing advisory professionals and firms a dedicated, trustworthy namespace for their professional identity online. Our mission is to become the recognized domain space where advisory practitioners across financial, tax, legal, insurance, real estate, consulting, and related fields build an authoritative web presence. This reinforces the credibility and trust central to advisory relationships, distinct from generic commercial .com-style domains.

When will .advisor be available?
ICANN has not set a date. The final list of applied-for strings comes on String Confirmation Day (November 17, 2026), community input and objections run until March 16, 2027, and ICANN processes applications after a prioritization draw in 2027. Registration opens only after ICANN delegates .advisor and its registry announces launch dates.
