Can you register a .connect domain?

Not yet: applied for
The short answer
Not yet. .connect is not in the DNS root, so no registrar can sell a .connect domain today. It is one of 986 strings applied for in ICANN's 2026 new gTLD round, published October 7, 2026. 7 applicants want it (Cam Connecting SARL, ECHO Domain Co L.L.C. and 5 others), and only one can run it.
