What .ddd would mean

"ddd" is a repetition of the letter D three times. It carries no standard dictionary meaning and functions as a short, symmetrical initialism that can stand for names, phrases, or acronyms formed from the letter D.
“ddd” is a concise three-letter alphabetic sequence with high memorability and broad cross-sector applicability. It may be used as a brand identifier, project label, community symbol, creative work title and for other lawful purposes.

When will .ddd be available?
ICANN has not set a date. The final list of applied-for strings comes on String Confirmation Day (November 17, 2026), community input and objections run until March 16, 2027, and ICANN processes applications after a prioritization draw in 2027. Registration opens only after ICANN delegates .ddd and its registry announces launch dates.
