What .force would mean
In their own words, from the public part of each application (question 118):
The string "FORCE" relates to a brand name that is registered as a trademark in several countries around the world, owned by the NYSE-listed corporation Salesforce, Inc.
"Force" refers to strength, energy, or power exerted to cause motion or change, and to an organized body of people acting together toward a shared aim, such as a workforce or task force.

US, stage: Pre-Evaluation Processing
At Salesforce, trust is our number one value, and we are deepening that commitment with our digital footprint. We intend to operate the .FORCE TLD as an exclusive dotBrand top-level domain. To create a secure and completely branded experience, all domain registrations will be restricted to organizations within our corporate group and, potentially, our trademark licensees.
