"Mesh" is an ordinary English noun and verb for material made of connected strands with open spaces between them, as in netting or a sieve. As a verb, to engage or fit together. In computing, a network whose nodes interconnect directly.

Mesh is a relationship intelligence platform, built on the idea that nothing valuable is ever lost and that the connections between people are as important as the people themselves. The mission of this TLD is to give Mesh a namespace it fully controls that reinforces user trust, strengthens protection against phishing and impersonation of the Mesh brand, and provides a stable, brand-consistent home for Mesh’s online presence.

The mission and purpose of this TLD is to expand consumer choice by providing a clear namespace associated with interconnected structures and networks. The gTLD is not dependent on a single industry, technology, or business model and can accommodate evolving uses as technology and Internet activity develop.

When will .mesh be available?
ICANN has not set a date. The final list of applied-for strings comes on String Confirmation Day (November 17, 2026), community input and objections run until March 16, 2027, and ICANN processes applications after a prioritization draw in 2027. Registration opens only after ICANN delegates .mesh and its registry announces launch dates.
