What .send would mean
In their own words, from the public part of each application (question 118):
To cause to go or be taken to a particular destination; arrange for the delivery of, especially by mail or electronic transmission
to move from one place to another
To transmit or cause/force/order to go.
Who applied for .send
Innovation Service Limited
SC, stage: Pre-Evaluation Processing
The mission and purpose of .send is to give individuals, businesses, and platforms an open, generic namespace for anything centered on sending — messaging and communication tools, social media content, package and freight shipping, and file or data transfer services.
Link Freedom Group / LFG
Link Freedom Group Ltd, MT, stage: Pre-Evaluation Processing
Link Freedom Group (LFG) aspires to become a best-in-class, vertically integrated domain name registration authority, see linkfreedomgroup.link. This TLD is part of a carefully curated portfolio of strings that LFG intends to pursue in ICANN’s 2026 New gTLD Program. In assembling this portfolio, LFG focused on securing meaningful, memorable, and commercially compelling strings that resonate strongly with end users and offer long-term growth potential.
NextGEN TLDs GmbH
DE, stage: Pre-Evaluation Processing
The mission and purpose of this TLD is to expand consumer choice by a space dedicated to transmission/delivery services (e.g. packages, messages, products like flowers, food delivery services, etc). Registrants and users will be entities engaged in sending ideas or physical goods from A to B, and those who order such items. It will be sustainable because the convenience of having things sent to you is increasingly attractive, generating growing demand for such services.
